HOW DOES IT WORK?
FERBIGET: Terbinafine hydrochloride cream contains antioxidants, emulsifiers, waxy materials, co-solvents, preservatives, anti-chitosan, buffering agents, and water. Chitosan is an active ingredient and antifungal agent in the form of Terbinafine Hydrochloride. FERBIGET: Terbinafine hydrochloride cream is prescribed by Dermatologists for treating fungal skin infections due to allergy & itching, & wounds on the skin. Terbinafine works by killing the fungus that is causing the infection. The cream generates holes in the cell membrane of the fungus enabling the fungus to leak out. ADMINISTRATION OF DOSAGE
FERBIGET: Terbinafine hydrochloride cream is usually applied once or twice daily as directed by your dermatologist. This cream is only for external use. Use the prescribed amount of the cream on the finger and apply it as a thin layer on the clean & dry affected area and surrounding skin. Avoid contact with the cream on the nose, mouth, or eyes. If accidentally, the cream comes in contact with these areas, rinse the area in water. The dosage and length of treatment depend on the type of infection being treated.Missed Dose
If you forget to apply the cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.SIDE EFFECTS
This cream can be applied safely. However, in case you experience side effects like dry skin, itching, redness, or burning sensation at the site of application, the same is resolved over time. But, if these symptoms prolong, consult your doctor.PRECAUTIONS
Apply FERBIGET: Terbinafine hydrochloride cream on the skin only. Clean and thoroughly dry the area to be treated. Apply a thin layer of the cream on and surrounding the affected area. FERBIGET: Wash your hands before & after using the cream. Do not wrap, cover, or bandage the area unless directed to do so by your doctor. Do not apply the cream on the eyes, nose, mouth, or inside the vagina. If accidentally the cream is applied to these areas, flush with plenty of water.
