XONEJET TZ-1.125:Ceftriaxone 1000 mg + Tazobactam 125 mgis a combination of two medications namely Ceftriaxone + Tezobactum. These medications are available in a single injection with a packing of 1.125 gm vial with water. This injection is an antibiotic that General Physicians prescribe to treat numerous bacterial infections of the urinary system, blood, bones and joints, heart, brain, chest, ears, skin, or soft tissues. A bacterial infection is a condition brought on by dangerous germs that have proliferated inside the body. Any part of the body can acquire it swiftly and propagate it there. TAZOBACTAM and CEFTRIAXONE together are ineffective for treating viral infections.
HOW DOES XONEJET TZ-1.125 WORK?
CEFTRIAXONE+TAZOBACTAM is the combination of the drugs Tazobactam and the antibiotic Ceftriaxone (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Ceftriaxone belongs to a class of antibiotics that kills germs and damages bacterial cell walls by preventing bacteria from producing the cell walls required for their existence. A beta-lactamase inhibitor called tazobactam boosts ceftriaxone's effectiveness and lowers resistance.

Ceftriaxone 1000 mg + Tazobactam 125 mg ensures larger zones of inhibitions than ceftriaxone alone. Tazobactam enhances the antibacterial spectrum of ceftriaxone against otherwise resistant bacteria. Demonstrates synergistic activity (reduction in minimal inhibitory concentrations [MICS] for the combination versus those of each component) against a variety of organisms
ADMINISTRATION OF DOSE
The combination of medicines is given by injection into a muscle or vein as directed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily. However, it is the discretion of the treating doctor to decide the dose of this combination in one injection considering the severity and type of injection.
