BIOFIELD -AMALGARD LSR: Rabeprazole 20 mg + Levosulpiride 75 mg capsule is available in a pack of 10*10 ALU-ALU packing. This combination of two medicines in one capsule is prescribed by General Physicians and doctors dealing with gastro problems. Levosulpiride accelerates gastric emptying. Levosulpiride is better than Domperidone in the improvement of regurgitation. Rabeprazole is an effective medicine for relieving heartburn. 75 mg/20 mg of Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride is an effective medication even as the ulcer heals naturally, the capsule lowers the amount of acid your stomach produces, preventing further injury. Depending on what caused the ulcer, you might also be given other medications.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
In comparison to Domperidone, Levosulpiride when combined with Rabeprazole shows better results in the improvement of regurgitation while Domperidone + Rabeprazole significantly improves heartburn. Regurgitation is the act of spitting up food from the stomach or esophagus without feeling sick or having to use excessive force to contract the abdominal muscles. Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole together make up the medication Levosulpiride + Rabeprazole. Acetylcholine is released more readily as a result of the prokinetic drug Levosulpiride (a chemical messenger). Reflux is avoided by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines (acid going up to the food pipe). A proton pump inhibitor is Rabeprazole (PPI). It functions by lessening the stomach's acid production, which aids in the relief of acid-related indigestion and ulcers.
