MAXIWOK: Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drop is an antibiotic medicine. The eye drop helps prevent the bacterial growth that causes infection. Thus, Moxifloxacin drops to stop the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. It helps relieve symptoms such as pain, redness, itching, or soreness caused due to eye infections.

MAXIWOK: Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops are indicated for the treatment of Bacterial eye infections.
Administration Of Dose
Put one drop in the affected eye or eyes as the case may be for 2 times a day. Only external usage is permitted for MAXIWOK: Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops. The dose of drops and duration of treatment with these drops may be followed as per the advice of your treating doctor. Continue using the eye drops for the prescribed amount of time. Do not contact the eye while holding the dropper nearby. Place the medication inside the lower eyelid by giving the dropper a light squeeze. Wipe away any extra liquid. Continue the treatment, as directed by your doctor. The dose & duration of treatment depends upon the medical history of the patient along with age and gender. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the eye drops are prescribed.
Side Effects
You can get mild to moderate Side Effects when using the MAXIWOK: Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops. As soon as the treatment period is over, such adverse effects fade away. However, speak with your doctor immediately if you are concerned about the Side Effects. Immediately after application, it may result in eye pain, dry eyes, and a burning feeling in the eyes.
