A dermatological drug called under the brand name ‘FEZIGRIP-M’ with composition of Fusidic Acid and Mometasone is primarily used to treat bacterial skin infections including eczema, dermatitis, nasal polyps (painless growths on the sinus or nose lining),skin lesions or eruptions, and red sores on the face. When harmful bacteria develop inside the body and cause illness, it is called a bacterial infection. It can quickly multiply and spread to any area of the body.
Mometasone (corticosteroid) and Fusidic acid are the two medications that make up MOMETASONE+FUSIDIC ACID (antibiotic). Fusidic acid is an antibiotic that stops the synthesis of necessary proteins that are needed by bacteria to perform essential tasks. It is used to treat infections such as folliculitis, spots, scrapes, grazes, impetigo (a weeping, crusty, and swollen area of skin), and dermatitis (skin irritation), inflammation of one or more hair follicles. Mometasone is a member of the corticosteroid family. This medicine is anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and inhibits cell growth. Prostaglandins are chemical messengers that cause the affected area to become red, bloated, and itching. It prevents their formation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Two medications makeup - FEZIGRIP-M with composition Mometasone (corticosteroid) and Fusidic acid( an antibiotic for one or more hair follicles. Mometasone prevents the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers that cause swelling, itching, and redness in the affected area. It is used to relieve irritation and inflammation brought on by eczema (inflamed and itchy skin), psoriasis (scaly, scale-like spots of skin), allergies, and rash. ). Fusidic Acid blocks the production of necessary proteins that are needed by bacteria to carry out critical tasks. ADMINISTRATION OF DOSE
Your treating doctor will recommend the appropriate dose that is suitable for your infection. Cream/gel/ointment: It is only for external use. Take a small amount of gel/cream/ointment on the fingertip and apply a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed & directed by your Dermatologist. Avoid contact with this medicine with your nose, mouth or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly.SIDE EFFECT

These symptoms normally do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. If you have any allergic reactions to FEZIGRIP-M: Fusidic Acid IP + Mometasone or any other medications, please inform your treating doctor. The combination is not recommended for diaper rash. Mometasone may increase the risk of infection in patients exposed to viral illnesses like chickenpox or measles. This medicine may not be applied on sensitive areas like nostrils, ears, lips or genitals without the guidance and advice of your treating doctor.
