ETORILUM-MR 60/4 combines Etoricoxib (60 mg) and Thiocolchicoside (4 mg) in a powerful formulation targeting pain and muscle spasms. Etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor, works to reduce inflammation and pain, while Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant derived from colchicine, specifically targets muscle spasticity. Together, this combination offers effective relief for musculoskeletal pain and conditions like acute lower back pain and spasms associated with neurological and orthopedic disorders. ETORILUM-MR 60/4 is available in tablet form with 10x10 ALU ALU packaging.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Etoricoxib in ETORILUM-MR 60/4 selectively inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, responsible for producing inflammatory prostaglandins. By blocking COX-2, it reduces inflammation and pain without significant gastrointestinal side effects. Thiocolchicoside, on the other hand, acts as a muscle relaxant by interacting with receptors in the central nervous system, helping to relieve muscle rigidity and spasticity, making it highly effective for muscle relaxation and pain relief in combination with Etoricoxib.
SIDE EFFECTS
While ETORILUM-MR 60/4 is generally well-tolerated, some side effects may occur, such as:

Abdominal pain

Gastric discomfort
Patients are advised to consult a doctor if any side effects persist or worsen. Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside may also increase the risk of cardiovascular issues and gastrointestinal discomfort in rare cases.
