ETORILUM-MR 60/4 combines Etoricoxib (60 mg) and Thiocolchicoside (4 mg) in a powerful formulation targeting pain and muscle spasms. Etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor, works to reduce inflammation and pain, while Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant derived from colchicine, specifically targets muscle spasticity. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Etoricoxib in ETORILUM-MR 60/4 selectively inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, responsible for producing inflammatory prostaglandins. By blocking COX-2, it reduces inflammation and pain without significant gastrointestinal side effects. Thiocolchicoside, on the other hand, acts as a muscle relaxant by interacting with receptors in the central nervous system, helping to relieve muscle rigidity and spasticity, making it highly effective for muscle relaxation and pain relief in combination with Etoricoxib.SIDE EFFECTS

ADMINISTRATION OF DOSES
ETORILUM-MR 60/4 is prescribed as a once-daily oral tablet, which can be taken with or without food. For optimal results, it should be taken at the same time daily. Patients with liver or kidney issues may require adjusted dosages. This medication is not recommended for use in children or adolescents under 16 years of age.
