ETORCUT: ATORVASTATIN 10 MG TABLET is a remarkable drug to maintain a healthy heart. Cardiologists prescribe this tablet containing Atorvastatin to patients having high cholesterol. It helps to keep your arteries from a deposit of cholesterol.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Atorvastatin is classified as ‘statins’. It slows the production of cholesterol, thus, avoiding the same deposit in arteries. By this, blood flow is maintained to the brain, heart, and other various parts of the body. The process of lowering cholesterol by administration of Atorvastatin involves blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme plays a role in accelerating the production of cholesterol by the system of our body. Atorvastatin blocks this enzyme and slows down the production of natural cholesterol in the blood.
