HOW DOES IT WORK?
Phenylephrine hydrochloride, dextromethorphan hydrobromide, and chlorpheniramine maleate work together as an antihistamine recognized as a cough suppressant in the IFCOFnow-DX: Phenylephrine 5 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg, and chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg syrup. Chlorpheniramine Maleate inhibits the activity of histamine, an allergen that triggers responses. Phenylephrine hydrochloride helps to shrink the blood vessels in the nasal tube, which lowers the symptoms of a stuffy nose. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide works by obstructing the cough-inducing muscles' ability to receive nerve signals from the brain's cough center. INDICATIONS

If you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors during the previous 14 days, stay away from utilizing IFCOFnow-DX: Phenylephrine 5 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg, and chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg syrup.
