IFCOF-L: Levosalbutamol 1 mg + Ambroxol 30 mg + Guaiphenesin 50 mg SYRUP is available in a PET packing of 100 ml. The combination is the anti-cold remedy and is prescribed by General Physicians. The syrup containing Levosalbutamol when mixed with Ambroxol and Guaiphenesin has an added advantage. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator. It helps relax the muscles in the airways and widen the airways
How Does It Work?
Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin are three medications that work together to treat coughs that produce mucus: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin. Phlegm can be coughed up easier with help from a mucolytic called ambroxol. A bronchodilator is levosalbutamol. By loosening and opening up the airways, it works. As an expectorant, guaifenesin lessens the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and aids in clearing the airways of it. Together, they facilitate breathing.
