This is a three-combination drug namely Doxylamine + Folic Acid + Pyridoxine. This drug is beneficial in nausea & vomiting during pregnancy.First salt Doxylamine is known as an antihistamine. It prevents the action of histamine on the parts of the brain responsible for nausea, vomiting, and dizziness.The second salt is Folic Acid. Folic acid is a form of vitamin B helpful in providing essential nutrients. Folic acid is a preferred drug prescribed for women in early pregnancy to avoid NTD and to give birth to a baby without any disorder. When the neural tube does not close properly, it is called NTD. The neural tube helps the baby to form the brain and spine at the early stage.The third salt is Pyridoxine is known as Vitamin B6 which comprises the properties of anti-nausea. The majority of people get sufficient Pyridoxine through diet but during pregnancy, poor diet results in a lack of Pyridoxine. Pyridoxine is a dietary supplement.This combination of drugs is administered for nausea & vomiting results due to hormonal changes during pregnancy. It helps pregnant women to pass the pregnancy period comfortably. Having nutritional value, it enhances the immune system of the baby and contributes to the development of the brain of the baby.

DOXISET-P - DOXYLAMINE 20 MG + FOLIC ACID 5 MG + PYRIDOXINE 20 MG is beneficial to control the emesis and create happiness. Doxylamine is the first-line therapy for the treatment of NVP symptoms in women. It helps decrease vomiting and nausea. This drug is safe and effective in the treatment of NVP. Folic acid is needed for normal growth and cell reproduction & prevents NTDs.

DOXYLAMINE 20 mg + FOLIC ACID 5 mg + PYRIDOXINE 20 mg prescribed for nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
Administration Of Dosage
A dose of Doxylamine 20 mg, Folic Acid 5 mg, and Pyridoxine 20 mg is recommended in combination. This combination of drugs is to be taken by mouth preferably empty stomach or as directed by your physician. It is taken once daily at bedtime. Your doctor may increase the dose to two times daily in the morning and at bedtime. It is to be swallowed whole and not to be crushed. Discontinuing the drug suddenly without medical advice may worsen your symptoms. It has to be tapered down as per the advice of your doctor.

Missed Dose
If you forget to take the dose at the scheduled time, take the same as soon as possible otherwise skip the same if it is near the time of the next dose. Do not double-dose the medicine
Storage
The drug must be stored at room temperature. It should be stored where moisture content is not available. Keep the medicine at a distance from children.
