PYREGEM SR: Paracetamol 300 mg (Immediate Release) + Paracetamol 700 mg (Sustained Release) is much better than conventional paracetamol 500mg tablets for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. It maintains the minimum effective paracetamol concentration (until 12 hours) compared with a conventional 500 mg tablet (6 hours). A brand-new SR paracetamol formulation has been created by Biofield Pharma Pvt Ltd that comes in bilayer tablet form and includes 1,000 mg of paracetamol (paracetamol 1,000 mg SR tablet). It releases 700 mg of paracetamol as the SR (70%) layer and 300 mg of paracetamol as the instant release (IR) (30%) layer. To deliver 2,000 mg of paracetamol per day without sacrificing its analgesic and antipyretic action, the 1,000 mg SR formulation of paracetamol has been formulated to be taken every 12 hours (twice a day). Treatment dosage and length are determined by the patient's medical history, age, and gender.
